The idea of starting a small business on top of working another job may seem overwhelming but not for Nicky-Ann.
Nicky-Ann Kalaphat turned her creative hobby and love for gifting into a successful business with the help of Bookipi.
She recalled how every time a friend received one of her cards they told her she needed to start selling them.
It wasn’t until she made gift baskets for Mothers Day and started receiving orders that she officially created Giftedbynix.

How Bookipi takes the hassle out of the hustle
Using Facebook to market her business, Giftedbynix now makes custom gifts and cards, gift supplies and special occasion decorations.
Like many other small businesses, as Giftbynix expanded, so did the need to manage the business finances and spending.
Luckily, a co-worker introduced Nicky-Ann to Bookipi and she was able to manage invoices and bill her customers all in the app, giving her more time to focus on her passion for gifting.
It helps me to keep track of my orders and also how much I make. I love that Bookipi is user friendly and very efficient. You don’t have to be an accountant to be able to use it

Nicky-Ann believes the best thing about starting her own business has been the ability to sharing a little piece of herself in everything she makes.
